Appraiser Education Requirements as of
January 1, 2008.

There have been significant changes to Appraisal Licensing in New York State; the following courses are required for both Licensing classifications listed above:

Basic Appraisal Principles                      
Basic Appraisal Procedures                          
Residential Market Analysis and Highest & Best Use
Residential Appraiser Site Valuation & Cost Approach     
Residential Sales Comparison and Income Approaches   
Residential Report Writing and Case Studies    
The 15 Hour National USPAP Course

The following additional coursework is required for the Certified Residential Category
